The St Christopher’s Hospice Christmas festival returns to Sydenham next Saturday 5th of December.
Providing palliative care at the end of life and bereavement services in the community St Christopher’s is a much loved local charity that many people will wish to support.
Entry to the festival is only £1 (free for children) and there is an array of family entertainment on offer from stalls selling cards, gifts and baked treats to face painting, biscuit decoration and a performance by PopGems Academy. We also heard a whisper that Father Christmas might be making an appearance…
The event takes place at 51-59 Lawrie Park road from 11am-3pm.
In addition the annual Remembering with St Christopher event will happen at 4pm on Sunday 6 December at the hospice. In a moment of calm families can come together to remember loved ones who are no longer with us at a short inclusive service where the lights on St Christopher’s outdoor Christmas tree are lit.
